Swiftly Produce App Icons Using a Photoshop Script!

This is an adaptation of another Photoshop script to make iOS app icons, found here. The change adds other sizes of common square icons; building on what was already there. The goal is to make an easy and quick way for Corona SDK developers or anyone else to make the necessary icon files from a single 1024×1024 png file or larger. This collection of images is for iOS and Android devices.

  • ldpi, mdpi, hdpi, xhdpi, xxhdpi and xxxhdpi are Android icons.

Here is a list of the icons that the script generates. The “apple-touch-icon” is for use with web apps. The “favicon” is for your website. The Google Play Store icon is 512×512, which is the same as the iTunesArtwork file. For more Icon charts and dimensions, reference Icon Handbook’s website, Icon Reference Charts.
